Martinus Scherweit
Chairman of the Managing Board / CEO
Born in 1964 and already many years of experience in the wind business. From 1991 to 1992 the mechanical engineer conducted measurements on wind energy turbines at Windtest Kaiser-Wilhelm-Koog on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Research and Technology and became project leader at Windtest at the end of 1992. In 1994 Martinus Scherweit changed to energy-consult (today a part of WKN) where he became the managing director and, from 1997 on, managing partner. Since 2004 Martinus Scherweit has been a member of the Board of WKN AG.
Michael Ostwald
Member of the Board / CFO
Born in 1966 and since 2004 has served in the wind business, at first as managing director of BGZ Fondsverwaltung, later as authorized representative of WKN AG. Since mid-2007 Michael Ostwald has been CFO of WKN AG. Michael Ostwald is a qualified bank clerk and bank business administrator. Before assuming his activities within the WKN Group he had been closely associated with the wind scene and the financing of wind energy projects as a banker for many years.
